STUDIO WORKS - DROP #3

The Studio Works began as a way of making space for painting without needing a plan.

They are small works on paper that I can pick up whenever I feel like it - in the studio, but just as often at home, with my children moving about around me. Sometimes I have only half an hour. I simply start somewhere and see what happens.

These pieces give me room to experiment, to follow ideas without knowing where they will lead, and to make things that don't necessarily have to become anything.

Sometimes an image ends there. Sometimes something appears that later finds its way into a larger painting.
 

Drop #3 brings together 10 new Studio Works.
