The Deserted Girl is an ongoing body of figurative work exploring presence, solitude and the inner world.
Dreamlike figures inhabit quiet, often ambiguous spaces, accompanied by animals, plants and recurring symbolic elements. The paintings move between intimacy and strangeness, tenderness and unease, allowing their narratives to remain deliberately unresolved.
Created over many years, The Deserted Girl has developed into a visual world of its own. Rather than depicting specific stories, the works suggest fragments of memory, dreams and inner experience — moments that feel familiar without revealing exactly why.
