A playful, enigmatic figure with bright blue eyes and a wide, knowing smile. Against a deep blue background, her direct gaze creates an almost personal encounter with the viewer. Ella explores the relationship we have with ourselves, the moment of looking into a mirror and recognising someone familiar, someone who knows us better than anyone else.
There is a sense of encouragement in her expression, a reminder to trust your own instincts, embrace who you are and meet yourself with curiosity and confidence.
Part of an ongoing body of work - The Deserted Girl - centered around themes like intimacy, nostalgia and emotional fields.
This is an original, one of a kind work.
