Two connected figures seem to emerge from the same body, held together by long strands of hair and a circular, almost protective form. Mothership carries something both intimate and otherworldly - a sense of attachment, separation and an invisible bond that remains between two beings.
Part of an ongoing body of work - The Deserted Girl - centered around themes like intimacy, nostalgia and emotional fields.

The work is currently stretched and framed.
For shipping within Europe, it can be carefully packed and shipped as it is. For destinations outside Europe, the canvas will normally be removed from its stretcher bars and shipped rolled in a tube for safer and more economical transport.
If you prefer, the work can also be picked up from my studio, stretched and framed.
