2019

An enigmatic, organic form painted in thick, expressive layers of oil paint. Deep reds, blues and earthy tones intertwine, revealing a small, mysterious figure hidden within. The Cave I explores the idea of an inner sanctuary, a place of shelter, transformation and the unknown.

Originally created as part of a triptych in 2019. The other two paintings have since found new homes.

This is an original, one of a kind work.
