Nebular Fields #10 emerged from a process of reduction, where each sketch became quieter and more open until only the essential movement remained: a spiralling pull towards a central point. Created on top of an older unfinished canvas from my earlier figurative period, the work feels like a continuation of ideas that first began to surface years ago during an art residency in Finland.
