Two closely related portraits, each with her own expression and personality. Rhiannon & Louisa play with the idea of twins: two individuals sharing a strong connection while remaining distinctly themselves. The geometric backgrounds mirror one another through an inverted arrangement of colours, creating a playful dialogue between the two paintings.
Their delicate features, soft pink hair and subtle differences in expression bring together a sense of familiarity, individuality and connection.
Part of an ongoing body of work - The Deserted Girl - centered around themes like intimacy, nostalgia and emotional fields.
These are two original, one of a kind paintings, offered together as a diptych.
