While working on this painting, a face unexpectedly appeared. A little less distinct than in NF11, but once I noticed it, I could no longer look away.
Lately, I find myself drawn to these moments when a presence emerges from a field of colour and light, without intention or plan. I simply follow the painting and see where it leads.
